A Letter from the Headmistress

For a long time I was feeling my way through the dark.

I stood in rooms of women who had needs and desires and were working against themselves in ways I could not comprehend.

Over and over I would try a thing, another thing, until finally the room would light up. We'd get truth, congruence, heat. I didn't know what I was doing, but I knew exactly where I was going.

Over those years, unbeknownst to me, there was another woman with a similar aim, but a completely different method.

Kimberly Ann Johnson was investigating through somatics, sexology, the nervous system: what happens to a woman when she wants, when she needs, when she freezes, when she denies herself.

After these years, Kimberly and I met together, and for the first time ever we are presenting an event in the honor of her new book, Erotic Seasons.

This will be a meeting of two women who've been on the same path for a very long time, meeting and speaking for the very first time.

I am so thrilled that Kimberly will be coming and allowing me to interview her, ask her questions, and mine that brilliant mind and body of hers for her expertise.
