Can you imagine the woman who both reigns and is adored?

What if these are not hyperboles?

What if the same thing that gets you what you want in your love life, in your romantic dreams, is exactly the same thing that gives you worldly authority and career success in your work life?

What could that thing be?

It’s not the same for men as it is for women, and the secret is hidden in plain sight. It’s what’s forbidden: It’s the erotic edge.

A woman’s vitality, life force, vividness, vivaciousness all point to the same thing: for us to be powerful in any arena of our lives, we have to feel fully alive and fully self expressed. And the source of that aliveness is none other than the erotic.

The mark of and the way this erotic power looks isn’t how we think. It’s not the dominatrix. It’s not the swooning seductress.

The mark of unstoppable power is not rigidity - it is playfulness.

It is the freedom that comes with that play and that pleasure.

Women have been told to tamp it down for centuries, have been explicitly or implicitly threatened for allowing that part of themselves to be fully alive. We live in different times.

And it’s not about the outside performance of sexuality. It’s about the inside source, which is erotic power, of both power and love.

The Erotic Edge is an exploration of that source, and of the schism that taught us to divide love from power in the first place.

Because at the root, those things are not divided.

Who This Is For

Do you find that in power you...

  • Have to shut down your heart or get angry in order to draw a boundary?

  • Make a case, maybe even find someone to blame and find a case for their guilt in order to draw a boundary?

  • Feel like in order to get angry, even in order to experience your own erotic rage, you need to make a case for it and have a target?

  • Can’t ask someone for something unless you can prove you’re at a deficit?

  • Feel like asking has to come from some reciprocity? “I did the laundry the last three times. Now you do the laundry the next three times.”

  • Find that when you fight with someone, when you have conflict, it lacks fucking play?

  • Feel like the moment you’re dealing with money, you gotta get cold? Shut down your heart, your pussy, all your intuition and all your feelings and think: “Let’s get logical.”

  • Find that negotiation has no feeling until it’s explosive?

  • Find that your future is a series of goals, not desires?

Do you find that in love you...

  • Offer more than is needed?

  • Give, give, give, give, give, give, only to find that it gets not only not appreciated, but the other person may be choking on it?

  • Find that service becomes self sacrifice, which diminishes your ability to continue to be in service and make things sacred?

  • Find empathy a hazard because you aren’t centered?

  • Find that your ability to have compassion and see all sides of a situation diminishes both your position and your ability to act in accordance with what is right and correct in that moment?

  • Can’t advocate for yourself because you understand their position?

  • In romance or infatuation, experience a loss of identity?

  • Disappear?

  • Become the thing that fills in the gaps?

  • Find that when you’re infatuated with somebody, what you’re chasing is not them, but the energy you inadvertently were trained to give away to them?

  • Find that all of a sudden they look more valuable, even though cognitively you’re like: “They’re not all that. Why am I so obsessed? Is it my low self esteem? Is it my childhood?”

What do these have in common?

These are the everyday expressions of the schism between love and power.

When power lacks love, it isn’t really power. It becomes rigid, wasteful, cold. It’s a power pantomime.

And when love lacks power, it isn’t really love. You can’t stand for what you love. You disappear. There’s no one there to love if there’s no you.

Power without love doesn’t really exist. And love in all of its aspects requires power. They spring from the same source.

The creative life force is erotic, and it is power.

There Is a Fundamental Schism

There is a fundamental schism in the psyche of modern peoples that fucks up everything. Without confronting that split, every relationship, romantic love thing that you try to learn lacks power, and every power thing you learn lacks love.

Power without feeling, without love, is violence. And violence is wasteful. Therefore it is not power, because power and waste are opposites. Power is connective. You literally cannot be part of the power grid unless you’re connected.

On the other hand, if you have love that has no power, it’s flattery. It’s addiction. If you don’t have power, you can’t stand for what you love. What is your devotion worth?

Love in all of its aspects requires power. And here’s the tricky part: somehow, especially for women, love and sex got divided.

The erotic, erotic sexual energy, is life force. It’s creative. It literally is power. Erotic power is the only kind of power that exists.

We are talking about a motherfucking wet pussy while you’re giving the speech of your life. We are talking about a fucking inner wicked YES to the moment somebody says no inside of a negotiation and you go: Oh yeah. Game on. This turns me on.

Because power is fundamentally playful and erotic.
